Minutes from January 10, 2018
The meeting was called to order at 6:40 p.m. President Jean Peterson welcomed all in attendance and thanked the Program Committee for choosing the movie and providing the refreshments.
Minutes: Thanks to Heidi Heimgartner for taking minutes for the December meeting. One correction was noted – the book study will be held in March. The February meeting will be the Robotics Club.
Treasurer’s Report: None
Committee Reports:
Program Committee: Beth and Mary announced that the February meeting on February 8 will be held at the library at the Blooming Prairie High School. We will be reading the book The Book that Matters Most by Ann Hood. Please contact Nancy at the library for a copy.
Old Business:
Aprons: Heidi reported that the cost per apron would be $8.18. She will check on the cost of silk screening. Pam will discuss the aprons with the Women of Today. It was determined that we would need about 20 aprons.
Santa House: To help the Women of Today with their annual project, AAUW members are encouraged to pick up Christmas items that could be used in the Santa House.
New Business: None
Announcements: Movies will be shown at the library on Thursday afternoons.
