Minutes – December 10, 2015
The meeting was called to order by President Marilyn Meshke.
Jean Peterson was thanked for opening her home for our December meeting.
The minutes are on the website, or soon will be.
Treasurer’s Report: There is a balance of $5,357.04 in the checking account. Flowers and a book were purchased in memory of Pat Ille.
Committee Reports:
Program: The January meeting will be held at Joanne’s home on January 14 at 7 p.m. Bring a special dish you own and invite your friends.
The February program will be a book discussion of The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd. This will be held at the Pizza Cellar on February 11th at 7 p.m.
Old Business: Village Affair: The committee will be meeting with the Women of Today to wrap up the finances and discuss the event.
New Business: Jean Peterson moved that the $700 raised in the white elephant auction be divided with $500 going to the Robotics Club at the high school, and $200 going to the Boys and Girls Club. Joanne Sorensen seconded the motion. The motion carried.
